1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Dotwise, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

2. Use of Service

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Dotwise. By using our service, you represent that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

Account Responsibility

To access premium features or track your learning progress, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

Access Limits

Dotwise employs a "metered" access model. We use cookies and account data to enforce limits on free content. Attempting to circumvent these limits (e.g., via automated scripts or multiple accounts) is a violation of these Terms.

3. Subscriptions and Payments

Certain parts of the Service are only available with a paid subscription ("Premium").

  • Billing: Subscriptions are billed on a recurring monthly or annual basis via Stripe.
  • Automatic Renewal: Your subscription will automatically renew unless you cancel it before the end of the current billing cycle.
  • Refunds: Except when required by law, paid subscription fees are non-refundable.
  • Price Changes: We reserve the right to change subscription fees at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of any price changes before they take effect.

4. Intellectual Property & Content

All platform content, including text, logos, and the "Dotwise" name, is the property of Dotwise. Our platform uses AI-driven technology to aggregate and structure knowledge.

While we strive for high accuracy and authority in our content, Dotwise leverages artificial intelligence. Content is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute professional, financial, legal, or medical advice. We do not guarantee the absolute accuracy of information provided.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Scrape, "crawl," or "spider" the platform for the purpose of harvesting data.
  • Use the platform to train competing machine learning models or AI services.
  • Reproduce or redistribute Dotwise content without express written permission.
  • Interfere with the platform's security or payment systems.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dotwise is provided "as is." Dotwise and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the service or any inaccuracies in the learning materials.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the platform immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or our business interests. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the state in which Dotwise is incorporated, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You agree to submit to the personal and exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located within our jurisdiction of incorporation for the resolution of any disputes.
